Your day-to-day mission is to help our leaders make high-stakes decisions across Hopper’s B2C, Media, and Sales verticals by merging deep financial intuition with AI-accelerated technical execution. We are moving away from manual, static modeling. We want a builder who views Claude and other LLMs as core teammates to automate workflows, architect complex SQL, and develop long-term FP&A tooling. Whether you’re chatting with an AI to build a better tool or presenting a budget update to a leader, you’re in your element. Day-to-day responsibilities Business Partnering: Act as a \"Finance Engineer\" for business leaders, translating complex operational drivers into automated reporting metrics to help them make better strategic decisions. Predictive Strategic Planning Focus: Architect long-range forecasting models and engines that go beyond static spreadsheets. Use AI to simulate \"what-if\" scenarios to navigate volatility and build a resilient, code-based roadmap. Technical Infrastructure & Automation: Build and maintain code-based systems powering our finance engine. Leverage Claude to write, debug, optimize SQL and Big Query workflows to automate dashboards and performance briefings. GTM & Sales Architecture: Partner with Sales and Media teams to engineer high-leverage Go-To-Market strategies. Design automated frameworks to track sales velocity, CAC, pipeline health, modeling incentive structures and ROI using AI. Ideal candidate A degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline. 5-7+ years experience in a top tier tech company. Proven track record using Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot to amplify output. Know how to use AI to write better, faster SQL. Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work autonomously, builder mindset. Proven track record in FP&A or Strategic Finance supporting Sales and Media teams. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, strong modeling experience.
