Shelter Veterinarian

At one of the largest animal shelters on the East Coast, you'll do work that a private practice simply can't offer. Your caseload will span the full range of shelter medicine: performing surgeries and wellness exams on shelter animals awaiting adoption, treating privately owned pets through our community care programs, handling cruelty and neglect cases on location, and providing care for pets in our foster network. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college or university and one year of professional veterinary medical experience preferred. Possession of a current license to practice veterinary medicine in Delaware and/or Pennsylvania or ability to get one.
