Work Environment

Your role will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in North Fort Myers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to pinpoint patient needs and develop customized treatment plans that align with physician referrals.
• Administer therapy across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a positive patient experience while achieving organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient treatment outcomes by leveraging shared knowledge and best practices.
• Provide in-home therapeutic care as necessary, ensuring alignment with the physician's prescribed plan.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols and rehabilitation goals to empower them throughout the recovery process.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to other business objectives consistently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. You will engage with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, all requiring a distinct approach tailored to their unique situations. You will play a vital role in helping them navigate their healing journeys, providing not only physical therapy but also emotional support and encouragement.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) obtained through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in all scenarios.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer software to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ability to build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients, guiding them to exceed their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with diverse clinical backgrounds, such as sports medicine or pediatrics, will be viewed favorably. Experience working in a collaborative team-based environment is also preferred, as it reflects our organization's commitment to shared care.

Compensation and Benefits
