Role Summary The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for the profitable operation of all apartment communities in the region as well as the assigned corporate P&L division. The RVP makes decisions for assigned communities, manages Regional Portfolio Managers, and maintains fiduciary responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Measure and track property-level leasing performance to ensure owner and budget objectives are met. Measure financial results against goals and objectives stated in the region’s annual operating budget. Manage corporate, regional-level, and site associates in accordance with local, state, and federal employment laws. Monitor training compliance and implement corrective action. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure recruitment and onboarding of RPMs and staff. Ensure compliance with fair housing and employment laws. Be familiar with the regulatory programs for each property. Proactively communicate with owners on performance of each property. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and the CONAM Injury and Illness Prevention Program. Maintain state real estate license as required. Seek and report new business opportunities. Comply with state and local real estate laws and licensing requirements. Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years experience as a Regional Vice President in the multifamily management field. 7+ years in the multi-family industry. Strong liaison skills between ownership and management. Leadership, mentoring, coaching, and managerial experience with regional teams. Budgeting, reporting, and marketing/leasing management expertise. Complex operational problem solving. Experience with onboarding/offboarding properties. State of CA real estate license required. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and property management software. Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance coverage; travel required. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $185,000–$225,000 annual salary.
