Chatham Rescue Squad – Chatham, NY
Pay: $30.00/hour
Chatham Rescue Squad is seeking a full‑time Paramedic to join our dedicated team. We are a mission‑driven organization focused on delivering high‑quality, compassionate EMS care to our community. If you value teamwork, professionalism, and meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you.
Position Details
- Full‑time: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Pay: $33.00/hr. +$2.00 Weekend Differential
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced life support (ALS) care in accordance with NYS and regional protocols
- Assess, treat, and transport patients safely and effectively
- Collaborate with EMTs, Paramedics, and local public safety partners
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient care documentation
- Ensure ambulance, equipment, and medical supplies are ready for service
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare personnel
Qualifications
- Current NYS Paramedic certification
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Strong clinical decision‑making and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move patients/equipment as required
