Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux Technician to join our innovative technology team. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems across various hardware and virtual environments.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
• Collaborate with development teams to support deployment of quantum engineering applications and related technologies.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports thoroughly for audit purposes.
• Assist in designing scalable solutions that incorporate emerging quantum engineering techniques.
• Support integration efforts with other network components and cloud services as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in Linux system administration within enterprise or research environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux command-line tools and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with network protocols, security practices, and system monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of hardware components relevant to high-performance computing setups.
• Experience supporting or implementing quantum engineering projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
