PT - Physical Therapist

Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8 Days (08:00 - 17:00). Some weekends required, approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month.

The Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist will provide high-quality physical therapy services to pediatric patients within an acute hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients with a range of pediatric conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities in treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and rehabilitation exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current AK PT License required.
• BLS certification required.
• Pediatric experience is essential.
• First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
