Average Daily Volume: 15-20 patients/day
Case Mix: General surgery and GI (scopes, GI bleeds, etc.)

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, WV temp license accepted
Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General Surgery
GI Coverage (Scopes, GI Bleeds)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certification required
Licenses: Active WV license required, Universal License (IMLC) accepted
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: At least 1 year

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide weekend call coverage for General Surgery and GI services.
Perform GI procedures including scopes and management of GI bleeds.
Manage patient volume of approximately 15-20 patients per day.
Document all patient encounters in Cerner EMR.
Participate in orientation as required.
