About the Role: Business Analyst, Corporate Actions – responsible for defining, enhancing, and scaling corporate actions data and processing capabilities across global markets. Work closely with Operations, Product, Technology, and Commercial stakeholders to translate complex market events and issuer announcements into structured, automated, and client‑ready solutions. The Role: Business Analyst, Corporate Actions The Managed Corporate Actions Commercial Team is responsible for defining, enhancing, and scaling corporate actions data and processing capabilities across global markets. The team works closely with Operations, Product, Technology, and Commercial stakeholders to translate complex market events and issuer announcements into structured, automated, and client‑ready solutions. The Impact This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable corporate actions processing across equities, fixed income, and fund instruments. By converting unstructured market disclosures into clear functional logic and platform requirements, the Business Analyst directly improves automation, data quality, and operational efficiency, driving better outcomes for clients and reducing risk across the post‑trade lifecycle. Responsibilities Own and deliver business requirements for defined corporate action initiatives or event domains. Analyse issues to define event logic, workflows, and data requirements. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data rules. Partner with Technology teams on system enhancements, data models, and workflow automation. Lead UAT activities with the change management team including test planning, test case definition, execution support, and defect triage. Identify data quality issues, process gaps, and root causes, contributing to continuous platform and automation improvements. What We’re Looking For Key Qualifications 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst within capital markets, asset servicing, or financial data platforms. Basic domain expertise in corporate actions or data across equities, fixed income, and/or funds. Hands‑on SQL experience for data analysis, validation, and impact assessment. Proven experience defining data models, business rules, and structured logic from unstructured inputs. Core Skills & Attributes Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work on large, complex datasets and ambiguous problems. Excellent documentation skills, including BRDs/FSDs, process flows, and target‑state designs. Confident stakeholder engagement across Operations, Product, Technology, and Commercial teams.
