Openings include classroom positions in 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th grades, along with a dedicated 1:1 opportunity working with a kindergarten student who will greatly benefit from your compassionate guidance.

This contract role begins August 20th. Elementary school positions operate from 8:40 AM to 3:50 PM, while middle school paraprofessionals work from 7:15 AM to 2:40 PM. You’ll work collaboratively with teachers and support staff, helping to create a nurturing learning space and positively impact students’ educational journeys.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teachers, staff, and students
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young learners
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
• Willingness to assist with classroom management, individualized support, and daily activities
• Dependability and punctuality are a must

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support in 3rd–8th grade classrooms or work 1:1 with a kindergarten student
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organization, and instructional materials
• Foster positive relationships by encouraging student engagement and participation
• Support students with special needs and adapt activities under teacher direction
• Help with supervision during arrival, dismissal, and transitions throughout the school day
