Experience the rewards of making a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist serving an infant and toddler caseload, specifically supporting Child Find initiatives for a school district near Mechanicsville, MD. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping young children achieve developmental milestones in an educational setting.

You’ll work full time, with your assignment running from August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027. Your expertise will play a crucial role in early intervention, collaborating with educators and families to design and implement therapeutic strategies that foster student success from the very start.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required.
• Background in pediatric OT, preferably with early childhood or school-based experience.
• Strong assessment, intervention planning, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate with families.
• Experience with infant and toddler populations and/or Child Find processes is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students identified through Child Find and early intervention programs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ strengths and needs.
• Develop and implement therapy plans targeting functional outcomes in naturalistic and classroom environments.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to promote generalization of skills.
• Maintain organized, timely records and contribute to team meetings and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) processes.
