Commercial Superintendent – New Jersey (Multi-Property Portfolio)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a portfolio of commercial properties throughout New Jersey. This role is responsible for ensuring all buildings are well-maintained, systems are operating efficiently, and tenant needs are addressed promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and overall building operations across multiple commercial properties
• Coordinate and supervise vendors, contractors, and on-site staff
• Perform regular property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations
• Manage preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems
• Respond to tenant service requests and ensure timely resolution
• Assist with capital improvement projects, renovations, and build-outs
• Maintain budgets, track expenses, and support cost control initiatives
• Ensure properties are clean, safe, and operating at a high standard

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance or property operations
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Experience managing multiple properties or a portfolio preferred
• Ability to coordinate vendors and manage projects
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties in New Jersey

Salary: $80,000 to $100,000
