Job Details Job Location: 0057 Our Lady Star of the Sea Mission, Stevenson - Stevenson, WA 98648 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly Description Position Purpose The Church and Parish Office Custodian helps Our Lady Star of the Sea achieve its mission to be a beacon of Christ, by ensuring that the parish facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion and are "ready to be used". Major Duties and Responsibilities Assures the church building and parish office are maintained in a clean and orderly manner, including dry mopping floors, wet mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms, laundering cleaning related items, collecting and disposing of trash / recycling items, and washing windows. Assures that the Church is clean and ready for Sunday Mass, as well as for any Holy Days of Obligation, Funerals, Weddings, and other special events. Works with Parish Secretary to manage cleaning supplies, keeping an inventory and coordinating with vendors to order new supplies as needed. Performs occasional “deep cleaning” when necessary, which may include but is not limited to carpet cleaning, waxing floors, scrubbing grout, and polishing brass. Qualifications Able to lift 25 lbs. Able to climb a ladder.
