Job Description:/pulliSecurity Officer Covers posts (e.g., customer counter, employee, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lot, perimeter, etc.)/liliScreens employees (in/out) and personal baggage at pedestrian and vehicle entrances/liliVerifies seal controls on vehicles at gateway (cut and apply seals)/liliVerifies identity badges of personnel for clearance, screen vehicles/liliConducts roving patrols, on foot or in vehicle around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas, switchyards etc./liliIdentifies fire hazards, unauthorized activity malfunctioning utility, hazardous conditions/liliMonitors CCTV/liliMay be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs. and running./liliPerforms additional duties related to security of premises as required/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHave reliable transportation/liliPhysically capable of performing the assigned work/liliAble to meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state in which the officers assigned facility is located/liliCommunicate effectively in English verbally and in writing/li/ulpEducation License:/pulliMust be 21 years or older/liliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliMust have a Valid Drivers License/li/ulpWork Environment and Schedule:/pulliJob operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors./liliPosition requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities./liliOpen availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs)./liliWork various shifts and Holidays as assigned./li/ulpVeterans:/ppInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
