Civil Project Engineer II/III - Renewable Energy Structural Design

Job DescriptionTimmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Raleigh, NC office location or working remotely.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs.Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclatureAssist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projectsAssist with the management of projects and tasksAssist with marketing and proposal developmentSkills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred2+ years of solar structure design experience requiredPE License is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, ExcelProficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan developmentProficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans is as plusAdditional InformationThe requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
