All while engaging our internal users in the process to understand their technology needs and enhance their technology efficiencies.Who you areProactive and independent technical expert who performs a variety of tier I, tier II, and tier III technical support responsibilities, requiring a thorough working knowledge of information technology and remote desktop support. You are a skilled communicator on all levels and dedicated to providing top-notch customer service. Your meticulous attention to detail is shown through your timekeeping, documentation, and execution of the technical work.You Know How To:Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via tickets generated by e-mail and phone calls.Demonstrate knowledge and experience in information technology and administration.Maintain strict confidentiality and security of the internal customer support and tickets, records, and sensitive information in accordance with company policies.Diagnose, research, troubleshoot, and resolve Tier I, II, and II technical hardware (printer, computer, peripherals) and common software issues.Assist users that may be locked out of computing devices, cloud services, or other applications.Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.Maintain the highest possible level of customer service.Work with vendors to provide internal users with updates on ISP outages or vendor support issues.Assist with the upkeep of internal environment documentation.Identify and contribute to automating tasks and processes.Work with the HR team and managers of various levels on the onboarding and offboarding of NexusTek employees and contractors.Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and tools.Asset management – provide adequate laptops and required equipment to new employees, replace/refresh gear for existing employees, and ensure that equipment is returned by former employees.Minor office tasks such as collecting mail, accepting deliveries, etc.Skills Needed :To best serve our internal NexusTek users, you will be required to have most of the skills below along with a strong desire to learn.Microsoft Windows Server 2008 to presentMicrosoft Windows 10 to presentMicrosoft SQL Server 2008 to present.Microsoft Exchange 2007 to presentMicrosoft Hyper-V 2012R2-2019Microsoft RDS 2008R2 to present.Active Directory, DNS, DHCPVMWare ESXi 5.5 to presentVeeam Backup & ReplicationEmail filtering and encryption such as Barracuda & Avanan /CheckpointCloud and virtualization-based technologies, Azure, GCP, AWS.Network infrastructure devices, such as routing/switching (Cisco Meraki)Firewalls (Cisco Meraki, Sonicwall )Public DNS Knowledge of Network Management (SNMP, MIB)Configuration of DMZ, IDS/IPS, Encryption, ACL's, 802.1xWireless technologies (802.11a/b/g/n, WPA2, WLC, WAP)Remote Access Platforms, such as Cisco AnyConnectPC hardware troubleshootingMacOS configuration and troubleshootingApplications:CitrixMicrosoft 365 (Intune, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Entra, Azure, etc.)ConnectWise PSAScreenConnectMicrosoft Office productsSentinelOne3CX/phone system managementVarious SaaS tools/productsPay and Benefits:This is a full-time hybrid position located at the Greenwood Village headquarters office in the Denver, CO along with working remotely from home.Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $32-$35 hourly, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
