As a Speech Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat adults with congenital, developmental, and acquired neurologic impairments while developing individualized plans of care that reflect each patient's goals, examination findings, and the best available evidence. Your work will involve providing one-on-one speech therapy interventions, regularly reassessing patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans to support the best possible outcomes. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care while educating patients and families about their condition, prognosis, home exercise programs, and ongoing treatment recommendations. Compensation: Base salary: $80,000–$106,000 per year. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech & Language Pathology. Current CF-SLP or CCC-SLP license in the State of Arizona. Current CPR certification. Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat adults with congenital, developmental, and acquired neurologic impairment or disease. Develop individualized plans of care based on examination findings, patient goals, and best available evidence. Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions. Perform regular reassessments to evaluate patient progress and treatment effectiveness. Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment and progress. Educate patients and family members regarding conditions, prognosis, and home exercise programs. Complete timely documentation in accordance with industry standards. Advocate for services and equipment that improve patient function and quality of life. Skills: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate patient care. Basic computer proficiency.
