F5 Load Balancer Engineer
Location: Remote
Long Term 1+ year contract
Roles and Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of recent direct experience with F5 load balance engineering
- Strong experience with deploying, operating DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (DDI) protocols and infrastructures
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking including switching, routing, WLAN, common protocols, and services.
- Detailed knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM)
- Detailed knowledge of F5 BIG-IP DNS formerly known as Global Traffic Manager (GTM)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Strong understanding with Unix shell scripting and Python
- Strong understanding of F5 Load Balancing concepts and algorithms.
- Strong understanding of High Availability Models and Appliances Architectures.
- Experience using network monitoring systems.
- Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively doc
