Mental Health Therapist

Position: Full-time or Part-time (Fee-for-service basis) Compensation: Up to $60.00 /client seen Minimum Hours: At least 10 hours per week Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based techniques (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, etc.). Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care. Offer crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges. Qualifications and Skills: Fully licensed by the State of Virginia LPC to provide counseling independently and without supervision; Residents in Counseling (working toward LPC or LMFT licensure in Virginia) will work under a Virginia Board Approved Supervisor until they are fully licensed. Must have professional liability insurance. Must pass a background check Must have excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with clients.
