Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Critical care experience.

Preferred Credentials: - RRT preferred over CRT.

Special Requests: - Must not have worked at any OSF facility in the past year.

Unit Details: - Uses the AARC point system; assign around 26-28 points per day. - Cares for general med, intermediate, and ICU patients. - Equipment includes Servo U, Servo i, LTV, Trilogy, ResMed S9, and Fisher Paykel.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday. - No call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
