Job Description: Serve as the primary internal contact for national and state cardiac/vascular registry data management questions Concurrently and retrospectively review medical records and data to identify patient care, process, and system issues Analyze reports and clinical data to identify trends impacting quality outcomes Work closely with the Hospital Quality Office and Department of Medicine/Surgery Quality Teams Develop initiatives to improve quality outcomes Participate in root cause analyses and complete audits on patient records Requirements: Current valid NYS Registered Nurse license required Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 4 years clinical nursing experience 1 year of experience with clinical chart review Monitoring of clinical data/performance Performance/process improvement required Clinical experience in perioperative nursing preferred Quality improvement or patient safety knowledge and experience preferred Benefits: Flexible hours No nights/weekends/holidays Partially remote work from home #J-18808-Ljbffr UR Ventures
