FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME)

Overview We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions. Location: Butterball - 1628 Garner Chapel Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time; Days may vary, 9:45 pm to 10:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. More details upon interview. Fixed Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Responsibilities Performs cashiering duties and general food service work while maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas. Prepares items (washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables) and measures designated ingredients. Transfers food and supplies safely between stations, managing items and equipment as required. Stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures; cleans work areas and equipment; follows sanitation and safety requirements. Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and standard portion control. Handles customer interactions, assists with complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner, and relays information to supervisors. Performs sales transactions, processes payments, issues receipts, and handles cash accurately; manages change funds and cash drawers per overage/shortage standards. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining area cleanliness. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior kitchen experience is preferred. Ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
