Responsibilities Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes. Provide Tier I (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Provide Tier II (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load operating system software, and troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components. Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems. Optimize system operations and resource utilization, perform system capacity analysis and planning. Provide in‑depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems. Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware. Possess a working knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration. Required Qualifications TS/SCI clearance with agency appropriate polygraph. Fifteen (15) years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Pay Range Hourly pay rates range from $49.25 to $118.30. Rates are a general guideline and will vary depending on factors including but not limited to government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications; and geographic location.
