Job DescriptionPosition Overview Noble Behavioral Health is actively seeking a committed and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our distinguished outpatient practice located in Pasadena, Texas. Our practice hours align with traditional business hours, specifically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a nuanced understanding of their mental health status. Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that are responsive to their personal goals, preferences, and specific clinical needs. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders. Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, empowering them with knowledge about treatment options and self-care strategies that enhance recovery. Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans in real time based on evidence and feedback. Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and comprehensive care for clients. Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in treatments for mood disorders, which will help in the continuous improvement of our therapeutic approaches. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical regulations. Contribute to case consultations and participate in team meetings that foster professional growth and the sharing of best practices. Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders, actively supporting their mental health needs. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will be working with primarily experience a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our population is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, which requires culturally competent care that respects each client's unique context and experiences. Qualifications A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas. Proven expertise in evidenced-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders. Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively engage with psychiatrists and integrate medical advice into therapeutic interventions. Demonstrated success in improving client outcomes for those suffering from mood disorders. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with a wide array of clients. Preferred Experience Experience working in outpatient mental health settings with a focus on mood disorders. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices. Previous work in multidisciplinary teams that includes medical professionals and support staff. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range of USD $80,000 - $100,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and experience.
