Marketing Director

We’re partnering with a fantastic client in the alternative investments space to hire a Branding, Media & Content Strategist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, high-performing firm and play a key role in shaping its brand, voice, and market presence. This role is ideal for a creative yet strategic marketer who understands financial audiences and thrives at the intersection of content, social media, and events. What you’ll be doing: Social Media Develop and execute a comprehensive LinkedIn strategy to grow audience, engagement, and brand authority Create and publish content including thought leadership, firm updates, market commentary, and multimedia assets Monitor performance metrics (impressions, engagement, follower growth, CTR) and optimize accordingly Support and advise leadership on executive social media presence Content Marketing Produce high-quality content including white papers, articles, newsletters, case studies, and investment commentary Partner with internal teams to translate complex strategies and market insights into clear, compelling messaging Manage an editorial calendar and ensure consistency in brand voice across all channels Oversee website content updates and support SEO initiatives Events & Conferences Identify and evaluate industry events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities aligned with target audiences Manage end-to-end execution of events including conferences, roundtables, webinars, and investor engagements Develop event materials, messaging, and follow-up strategies to maximize ROI Track event performance and maintain a pipeline of relevant opportunities Media & PR Support press outreach efforts including drafting press releases, media pitches, and firm announcements Build and maintain relationships with journalists and industry publications Coordinate media opportunities for senior leadership (interviews, bylined articles, commentary) Monitor industry news and identify timely PR opportunities What we’re looking for: 4–7 years of marketing experience, preferably within financial services, asset management, or alternative investments Demonstrated success in LinkedIn strategy and social media management Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly Experience planning and executing events and sponsorships Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Nice to have: Experience marketing to institutional investors, family offices, or high-net-worth individuals Familiarity with financial marketing regulations (e.g., SEC guidelines) Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and analytics tools Background in media relations or public relations This role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while helping to shape and scale a growing brand in a competitive market. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Method Staffing
