We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to support our doctor in delivering comprehensive oral care. This position offers the opportunity to work either part-time or full-time with flexible scheduling and significant long-term growth potential. The ideal candidate will assist in both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care. Title Dental assistant Job Description Assist the dentist during exams and a variety of treatment procedures, including suctioning and passing instruments. Set up and prepare exam and surgery rooms; maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment following OSHA and health regulations. Monitor and support patients before, during, and after dental procedures, providing comfort and post-operative instructions. Operate and maintain dental equipment and monitors, including taking dental x-rays and other imaging procedures. Manage dental supplies by stocking and organizing treatment rooms. Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the doctor. Apply knowledge of dental and medical insurance when assisting patients and managing billing processes. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards. Maintain accurate data entry and accounting records as required. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient care and office efficiency. Salary Range full-time $23 - $40 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Saturday and Sunday: Closed Requirements Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to write legibly and type proficiently. Entry-level candidates are welcome; training will be provided. Basic computer skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patient interaction. Ability to follow infection prevention and control practices and maintain sterile work environment. Preferences X-ray / Radiography Certification Experience working with dental or medical insurance. Previous dental assistant experience or familiarity with dental office procedures. Knowledge of dental x-ray operation and basic imaging techniques. College education or equivalent is an advantage but not mandatory.
