Packer (Pick and Packer)

Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite in refrigerated warehouse environment)
Pay: $15.50 per hour (Temporary, potential temp-to-hire)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 am until end of production (finish time varies between 3 pm and 6 pm, depending on volume; must stay until production ends).
Contract Length: 1 month+ (potential for temp-to-hire).

Job Description
Kelly Services is seeking a reliable Packer for a temporary assignment in Orlando, FL, working in a refrigerated environment (32–34&degree;F). The role focuses on packing, portioning, and palletizing meat products such as steaks, chicken, pork, and beef.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Removing products from containers and placing them into packing machines.
• Weighing, measuring, and counting products for accuracy and specifications.
• Examining, labeling, and marking packages.
• Packing and palletizing completed boxes (no equipment operation required).
• Cleaning containers, work area, and supplies as needed.
• Rotating to different production lines according to business needs.
• Recording product and order information.

Must-Have Skills

• Fast and accurate hand speed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Attention to detail, especially in weighing and ticket matching.

Preferred Skills

• Adaptability to shift between tasks and production lines.
• Experience in warehouse/refrigerated environments (preferred, not required).
• Previous packing or production experience is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Team player with good listening and communication skills.
• Open to English and Spanish speakers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No specific years of experience required.
