This role reports to the Billing Supervisor.**Position Summary**The Legal Billing Specialist will be responsible for the full life cycle of the invoice preparation process while ensuring that all invoices are accurate, compliant with client requirements, and submitted in a timely manner. This role demands strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, and administrative staff. Candidate must be flexible to work overtime as needed.**Key Responsibilities*** Edits Prebills via Prebill Viewer and Aderant based on the request from the Billing Attorneys* Generates a high volume of complex client invoices via Aderant.* Ensures that all invoices are compliant with the billing guidelines and that all required supporting documentation is compiled prior to submission.* Submits ebills via EHub, including all supporting documentation.* Monitors and immediately address any invoice rejections, reductions, and those needing appeals.* Responds to billing inquiries.* Undertakes special projects and ad hoc reports as needed and/or requested.* Flexibility to attend onsite trainings, work overtime and conduct business travel as needed**Qualifications***Skills & Competencies** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation.* Effectively prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment.* Highly motivated self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision, as well as take a proactive approach in a team setting.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills.* Must be proactive in identifying billing issues and providing possible solutions.* Must have the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.* Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships within all levels of the firm.*Education & Prior Experience** Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance* Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Legal Biller required.*Technology** Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required* Aderant or Elite/3E preferred, Prebill Viewer, E-billing Hub, Bill Blast* Proficiency in Excel required.* Demonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environment.* Familiarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) and incorporate them responsibly into day-to-day workflows to enhance daily work tasks as appropriate and/or directed.* Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovation.GT is an EEO employer with an inclusive workplace committed to merit-based consideration and review without regard to an individual’s race, sex, or other protected characteristics and to the principles of non-discrimination on any protected basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr Greenberg Traurig, LLP
