Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist, Acute Care

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in an acute care setting. This position involves working closely with patients to design and implement rehabilitation programs that aid in recovery and enhance their physical mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and objectives.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques to facilitate patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and exercises for home practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient records and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
