Spa ConciergeSouthall is a premier destination bringing nature, produce and people together in a powerful and unique way.The Spa Concierge at Southall is responsible for the reception area of the spa. Duties include the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, booking all appointments, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed. Occasionally assists the Spa Attendant with transitional cleansing of locker room and relaxation area as needed.ResponsibilitiesBe on time for shift and maintain consistent, regular attendance recordMaintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with Southall standardsProperly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating ProceduresMaintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work areaAccurately book, change and cancel spa appointmentsBe knowledgeable of all the services we offer and accurately describe them to our guestsAcknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves spa facilitiesEnsure that the check-in and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy by processing cash, credit card and credit transactions accurately thus protecting the company's assetsMaintain a Spa Desk bankProvide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operationHandle guests' questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteouslyResolve guest complaints in a manner which promotes positive outcomeUtilize spa computers with skill and proficiency and document guest information in electronic record as directedAnswer the phone promptly and use the guest's name throughout the phone conversationWork cooperatively and professionally with all departmentsAttend regular meetings as directed by the Spa Director and Spa ManagerPerform other related duties as assigned by the Spa ManagerOversee and maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and spa facilitiesConduct tours of the facility as requestedPromote positive guest relations by providing prompt, courteous and efficient serviceWork diligently to support Southall philosophy throughout propertyCultivate and maintain staff moraleComply with all departmental and company policiesMaintain confidentiality of all Southall proprietary informationMaintain accurate property information through daily use of email and other forms of communicationProvide our guests with a 5-star experiencePerform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall LeadershipRequirementsMust be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-taskMust have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skillsExcellent communication, listening and computer skillsThe ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guestMust be a team playerPreferred experience in a luxury resort, exclusive club or high-end spa settingHigh School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a service-oriented roleStrong organizational skills with attention to detailElegant verbal and written communication styleProficiency in using booking systems and Microsoft office softwareFriendly, approachable demeanor with a genuine passion for wellness and hospitalityAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guestsOur BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageGenerous paid time off accruals401k and company matchWeekly payFree weekly outdoor activities and wellness classes30% internal discountsFresh and free daily mealBountiful internal growth opportunitiesOur TeamAssembled intentionally with dynamic expertise, the Southall team is offered the unique opportunity to learn humbly with, and from, each other.
