Description: The Clinical Nurse II is an RN who practices as a full partner on the health care team. This position consistently demonstrates safe practice within the organization's professional practice model. The Clinical Nurse II possesses the knowledge, skills, and attitude to effectively meet standards for competent professional nursing practice. This role exhibits organizational core values which reflect its mission. The Clinical Nurse II independently provides patient care through the application of the nursing process. This nurse accepts accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients, who may range in age from infancy to adult. Collaboration with the inter-professional health care team is essential for facilitating care coordination across the continuum. Seeking feedback for leadership roles is a key component of this role, as well as providing feedback for improved clinical practice. Compliance with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies is required.
