We are looking for a passionate chef's assistant to join our Culinary team at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa. What you will be responsible for Assist the Chef in the production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and fine dining. Maintain the cooking workstation, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are prepared and stored properly. Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling, cutting meat, etc.) for use in culinary operations. Keep kitchen sanitized and orderly. Maintain consistent food preparation and store ingredients properly. Help minimize food waste through cross utilization. Support the world‑class culinary team in creating menus that reflect seasonal availability and restaurant concept. Required skills and qualifications Active Food Handler certification or the ability to obtain it. Willingness to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds. Minimum age 21. Desire to exceed expectations and an energetic personality.
