Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuroscience)

Location

Richmond, VA | Progressive Care Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown)
• Document all clinical activity using EPIC electronic health records (required, no exceptions)
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete all required facility orientation modules within the first week of assignment
• Work every other weekend (EOW) and 2 holidays per contract term

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (PCU/Stepdown or related setting preferred)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be available to work every other weekend and 2 holidays per contract
• Must be absent from this facility for a minimum of one year before returning as a travel nurse
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate — no radius restrictions apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior experience in a neuroscience or step-down/PCU setting
• Familiarity with facility-based compliance and onboarding processes for travel assignments
