Job Description

As a Lead, you will serve as the first level of operational leadership on the warehouse floor while actively participating in production activities. This role is responsible for coordinating labor, monitoring productivity, enforcing safety standards, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting daily operational goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance physical work with team oversight in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct daily workflow, assign labor, monitor productivity, and ensure operational goals are met
• Participate in unloading containers, staging materials, building pallets, and supporting production needs
• Enforce safety standards, conduct pre-shift safety checks, and immediately report incidents or unsafe conditions
• Monitor quality standards including pallet accuracy, product damage, labeling, and customer-specific requirements
• Track labor efficiency, container completion metrics, downtime, attendance, and communicate shift performance to management

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience required
• Prior leadership, team lead, or crew coordination experience preferred
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Basic computer, RF scanner, and productivity tracking experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus

The pay range for this position is $41,600–$45,760 annually , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
