Arobas personnel is looking for a Quality Assurance Enginee for a remote contract (US) with one of our clients.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products prior to release . You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining tests , as well as identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects . This role requires strong attention to detail , a collaborative mindset , and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools . Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products prior to release . You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining tests , as well as identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects . This role requires strong attention to detail , a collaborative mindset , and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools . Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases to validate software functionality
- Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during testing
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes
- Re-test applications after fixes to ensure defects are resolved and no new issues arise
- Develop and maintain test documentation , including test cases and reports
- Support test environment setup and execution of test scenarios
- Participate in debugging and troubleshooting activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and efficiency
- Assist in adopting and using test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience executing test cases in a structured QA environment
- Ability to create test plans based on user stories
- Experience with ReadyAPI
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of databases and ability to write SQL queries
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
