Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a receptionist to receive guests, answer calls to the main switchboard, and respond to routine questions in a professional and timely manner. Position includes: Receive hospital visitors, ascertain needs and direct visitors appropriately; ensure that all visitors sign in. Answer and disseminate incoming calls on the switchboard in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Utilize the paging system to make announcements as required. Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or equivalent Experience: Two (2) years' experience operating multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment, and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment. Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
