Job Summary

This is a 16-week contract opportunity for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) at an acute care facility in Duluth, Georgia. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic surgical team, providing high-quality patient care during various surgical procedures.

The role involves comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including both scrub and circulating duties, for a diverse patient population undergoing orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastic surgeries. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive scrub duties, anticipating surgeon needs and maintaining a sterile field.
• Execute circulating duties, ensuring patient safety, managing the operating room environment, and documenting care.
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transfer within the surgical suite.
• Monitor patient's physiological status during surgery and respond appropriately to changes.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, including Orthopedic, Bariatric, General, and Plastic surgeries.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care Operating Room (OR) experience.

Shift Details

Licensing Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
