Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working with students in a supportive school setting near Arvada, CO. This contract role covers the entire academic year from mid-August to early June, providing you with the chance to foster growth and independence among students from elementary through high school. Work four consistent days a week—Tuesday through Friday—offering a healthy work-life balance with Mondays off.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to support diverse student needs across elementary and high school levels
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students at an elementary school three days a week and at a high school one day a week
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs and help develop tailored therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the educational setting
  • Maintain accurate progress notes, reports, and documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute goals and strategies to support student success
