Radiology - Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Shift: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Fluoro certification required. - Must have a current certification in one modality and be able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: CT, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, sonography, or PET.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Three years’ technical experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred (some certifications will require Bachelor’s). - Master’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: - Performs at least three imaging modalities on a regular basis, including x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography. - Performs mobile imaging examinations as needed. - Special procedures include CT-guided drain placements and biopsies, aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, fluoro-guided lumbar puncture, PICC placement, and myelogram. Procedures vary depending on the radiologist covering the department for the day.

Shift & Scheduling: - Sun-Wed schedule. - All call shifts are assigned on the posted schedule. - Rad Tech on-call is 1-4 shifts per week at 5.5 hours per shift. There are two call shifts per day: early call is and late call is ; evening staff cover late call. - Weekend coverage is either every other weekend or one weekend day per week.

Floating Requirements: - You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have CT experience.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
