Role Description The Registered Nurse will provide direct, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients in an on-site clinical setting located in Boston, MA. This full-time role includes performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. The nurse will educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge instructions, and self-care strategies, while promoting safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies and protocols. Daily responsibilities also include documenting care accurately in the electronic health record, participating in quality improvement initiatives, supporting clinical research activities as appropriate, and mentoring students or new team members in a teaching hospital environment. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts and graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, care planning, and monitoring for changes in condition in acute or specialty care settings. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency with electronic health records, documentation standards, and adherence to patient safety, quality, and infection control practices. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients and tasks, demonstrate sound clinical judgment, and remain calm in fast-paced environments. Commitment to continuous learning, participation in professional development, and openness to working in a teaching and research-focused hospital. Experience in academic medical centers, tertiary care, or specialty units is beneficial; relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, specialty certifications) are preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
