RN Emergency Room | Evans, Georgia

Contribute your expertise as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting, working within a dynamic, interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated RN who will champion safety, excellence, and compassionate service-all in accordance with state guidelines and the latest evidence-based nursing standards.


Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 3 PM to 3 AM
• Rotating schedule across various days of the week
• On call: Two 24-hour call shifts every 8 weeks
• Weekends: Minimum every other weekend
• Holidays: At least 2 major and 2 minor holidays required

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Active and unencumbered RN license (Georgia single state or multi-state compact)
• BLS certification required upon hire
• PALS certification (or completion within 180 days)
• ACLS certification (or completion within 180 days)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) or equivalent, with up to 18 months to obtain
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, manage emergencies, and communicate effectively
• Proven skills in teamwork, documentation, and patient advocacy
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the full nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families for optimal outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based projects, and continuing professional development
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to colleagues and students when needed
• Adhere to professional, legal, and organizational policies and standards
