About the Position
Our client is seeking skilled, professional CDL A Shuttle Drivers for a stable, safety-focused operation in Manassas. This position offers consistent scheduling, competitive pay, modern equipment, and comprehensive benefits from Day 1.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $33.50 per hour
- Average weekly pay: $1,350
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Consistent pay increases
- Schedule: Friday through Monday, 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Hours per week: 40
- Home daily
Job Details
- Route type: Local shuttle routes
- Freight: Trailer shuttle operations
- Equipment: 53-foot trailers and late-model, well-maintained equipment
- Handling: Move trailers in and out of loading doors, secure loads, and verify trailer conditions
- Work setting: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Perform local shuttle runs and move 53-foot trailers in and out of loading doors
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate driving and equipment logs
- Secure loads and verify trailer conditions
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety procedures
- Operate equipment safely and professionally
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience
- Experience with 53-foot trailers
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
