Director, External Scientific Society Engagement
Revolution Medicines
Revolution Medicines seeks a Director to establish and lead external scientific society engagement strategy, developing partnerships with professional oncology societies, research foundations, and community networks. The role synthesizes scientific insights to inform medical strategy, clinical development, and commercial planning across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute external scientific engagement strategy with professional societies and research foundations
- Lead strategic partnerships with global and national oncology societies to strengthen scientific collaboration
- Build and maintain relationships with scientific leaders and emerging investigators to foster innovation
- Generate and synthesize scientific insights from external engagements for actionable strategic recommendations
- Partner cross-functionally across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams to align strategies
Requirements
- 12+ years progressive experience in oncology biopharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated success developing external scientific engagement strategies with medical societies
- Deep understanding of oncology landscape, evidence generation, and clinical research
- Experience translating external insights into strategic portfolio and commercialization recommendations
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and society leadership
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
