Pay: $22.00-$34.00/hourly TheAthletic TrainerJob Description: Shift/schedule varies including evenings and Saturdays for game coverage Great therapy leadership and administration team! The Athletic Trainerprovides athletic screenings in the schools, hospital, and outpatient facility according to the principles and practices of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team including physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. Provides training guidelines and modification for athletes and coaches. Makes recommendations to athletes, coaches, parents, and physicians regarding an athlete's injury. Provides game coverage. Provides rehabilitation under guidance of licensed therapist. Plans, organizes, and implements specific medically prescribed cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation programs. TheAthletic TrainerQualifications: Graduate of an accredited program for athletic trainers Licensure in Illinois or eligibility for licensure is required Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association is required Clinic and field experience is preferred Current CPR certification is required The Surrounding Location: Near a college town in western Illinois, known for its quiet atmosphere and strong sense of community.
