Lead Recovery Coach (Day Shift) Monte Nido Clementine Calabasas – Calabasas, CA We save lives while providing the opportunity for people to realize their healthy selves. Clementine is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. We support adolescents and their families on the path to full recovery, preparing each adolescent to navigate life free of the eating disorder. We provide empathy, education, and support to families as partners in the recovery process. We help each adolescent replace the eating disorder with healthy skills and a deep understanding of how to live a life that reflects their own unique individuality. We are seeking a full‑time Lead Recovery Coach to join the Clementine team. Salary: $25.00 - $29.00/ hr Schedule: Tue - Sat or Sun - Thu, Day shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM); on‑call required every other week. Responsibilities Provide a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients. Transport patients to and from the facility safely and in a timely manner using a vehicle provided by the facility. Possess a clean driving record and a clean background check. Monitor patient safety (including disordered eating behaviors) during the program day, intervening with recovery‑focused directives when appropriate. Participate in and monitor daily meals and snacks with patients, including preparation of these meals; facilitate Meal Pre‑Planning and Meal Process Groups. Monitor bathroom activities and break times during the day. Monitor patient safety throughout the night shift, conducting 15‑to‑30‑minute safety checks. Facilitate and monitor patient safety in daily and weekly outings for meals and group activities. Document daily reports and patient meal logs, capturing all information, interactions, communications, behaviors, and interventions promptly. Participate in weekly to bi‑weekly staff meetings for personal and professional growth and team cohesion. Collaborate with the Program Manager to relay staff‑meeting information to Recovery Coaches. Demonstrate knowledge of a patient’s total needs as a whole person, addressing psychosocial, physical, developmental, spiritual, and cultural issues as appropriate. Adhere to the designated work schedule, be timely, and pre‑arrange for any vacations or absences. Possess working knowledge of the facility’s fire, disaster, and infection control programs. Schedule Recovery Coaches and secure coverage or provide coverage in collaboration with the Program Manager during voids or call‑offs. Train and support Recovery Coaches at hire and ongoing. Facilitate monthly Recovery Coach meetings in collaboration with the Program Manager. Follow Monte Nido & Affiliates policies and procedures. Use tact and sensitivity when communicating with patients, families, co‑workers, and others. Maintain confidentiality of patient records and communications. Uphold the values and philosophy of the Monte Nido & Affiliates mission statement. Recommend quality and/or process improvement initiatives to perform job functions more effectively. Be available for on‑call when necessary, picking up voids or call‑offs. In an emergency or declared state of emergency, stay on‑site as part of the emergency team until the emergency ends. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High‑school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two (2) years of experience in a health‑related field highly desired. Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a safe driving history. CPR certification required or within 90 days of hire.
