Interventional Radiology Technician

Role: Interventional Radiology Tech (RT(R)) or Radiologic Nurse (RN) with neuro IR experience preferred, supporting a busy IR department staffed 24/7. Responsibilities Scrub and circulate for basic to advanced IR procedures, including kyphoplasty, central lines, fistulograms, embolizations, and thoracentesis. Support CT room procedures like cryos and biopsies; assist with neuro IR cases such as strokes and embolizations. Operate imaging equipment (GE, Siemens preferred), charge and code procedures (RT(R)), administer sedation (RN), monitor, and chart patient status. Handle equipment like IV pumps, PACS, and MedRad injectors; collaborate with a team of techs and staff. Participate in orientation, on-call duties, and possibly alter shift times; respond to calls within 30 minutes. Qualifications & Skills RT(R) with ARRT certification and Wisconsin license, BLS required; ACLS preferred. RN with BLS, ACLS, and neuro IR experience preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.
