Delivery Driver

We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating furniture trucks, delivering furniture to residential and commercial customers, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate straight trucks/box trucks while adhering to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weather conditions.
• Properly load, unload, and secure furniture, appliances, boxes, and equipment to prevent damage during transport.
• Move heavy furniture and appliances using dollies, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques.
• Interact professionally with residential and commercial customers, confirm deliveries, and obtain required signatures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and overall vehicle condition.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery documentation, and expense reports.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and professionally.

Key Requirements:

• Experience operating furniture trucks required.
• Class B CDL preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture and appliances.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
• Must successfully complete a road test.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
