Job Summary
Endoscopy Lab Registered Nurse (RN) Los Angeles, CA. This role supports endoscopy and GI lab operations, including recovery for patients who receive monitored or conscious sedation and assisting with procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 4x10 (07301800), minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California (no temporary accepted); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); and at least 2 years of experience with prior endoscopy/GI lab experience (including readiness to support pre/post procedure roles)
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in recovering patients who received conscious sedation and exposure to endoscopy procedures such as bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include recovering patients after conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care sedation, circulating and assisting with endoscopy workflow, specimen handling/labeling, starting and maintaining IVs, and supporting pre/post procedure care. Additional clinical duties may include interpreting/managing dysrhythmias and monitoring conscious sedation. Charting is completed in Epic.
