Overview Obstetrician/Gynecologist Generalist Immediate opportunity in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at District Medical Group (DMG), practicing at Valleywise Health Medical Center. Valleywise Health is opening a new 240-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine. The new hospital is designated as a state-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center. Valleywise Health co-sponsors nine residency programs affiliated through the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children's Hospital, and is well situated in central Phoenix. The position includes employment through DMG, a 400+ multi-specialty group exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching. This role supports the educational initiatives of the OB/GYN department's associated teaching programs. Responsibilities Flexible inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Labor and delivery, outpatient clinic staffing, as well as gynecology consults and surgeries. Regular schedule includes weekend and night shifts. Qualifications Candidates must have an MD/DO degree, Arizona medical licensure, and be ACOG Board-certified or Board-eligible.
