Dental Assistant & Office Position

Permanent Float - Dental Assistant & Office position in a Mountain View general dental practice. They are looking for someone to work Tuesdays and Fridays 9-4. This would be mostly back office and basic reception tasks. Having Chinese, Korean, or Japanese as a primary or secondary language is also a huge bonus for their patient base. Responsibilities:

• All office aspects from scheduling, insurance verification, processing claims, updating general information in all systems ordering front and back office supplies
• Welcome patients to the office and help with any questions or concerns
• Take telephone calls and respond to dental inquiries appointments, and insurance
• Scheduling appointments according to available time slots and providing appointment details to patients over the telephone and in person
• Prepare the work area for procedures
• Take x-rays of patients; teeth when necessary and display results for the dentist
• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
• Restock treatment areas

Qualifications:

• Current dental licensure
• Xray certificate is a plus
• Current BLS or CPR certification
